IT MMIS / HIPAA Business Analyst

Duties / Experience / Comments

Description  Duties:
·         Under general direction, gather, define and document highly complex business requirements.
·        
Facilitate meeting discussions between business users, business analysts and technical analysts.
·        
Document organizational policies and procedures in the context of system requirements.
·        
Work with technical staff and business users to problem-solve and identify workable solutions.
·         Develop workflows that demonstrate current and proposed business requirements.
·        
Prioritize the individual work load that involves multiple project assignments and deadlines.
·        
Create and execute test cases, test scripts, data sets and user procedures.
·        
Ensure testing results correspond to Business and Functional Requirements.
·        
Work with team lead, technical staff, key users to identify, track, manage project issues as they arise.
·        
Answer questions and inquiries about system functionality.
·        
Provide user support, including training, help and instructions.

Requirements:
·        
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
·         4 years experience in business process re-engineering as a Business Systems Senior Analyst.
·        
Two years experience in a Medicaid or Medicare agency or Health Insurance company.
·        
Experience with HIPAA Transactions and Code Set Rule is required.
·        
Experience working with business clients and technical staff.
·         Experience developing computer business requirements and related business documents.
·        
Experience writing General System Design and Business Requirements Documents.
·        
Proficiency in speaking and writing in the English language is required.
·        
Experience working independently within guidelines.
·         Experience developing and executing test scripts, test cases, data sets and user procedures.
·        
Experience level with Microsoft Word and Excel must be at an intermediate level or higher.
·        
Experience with MMIS Claims Processing preferred.
·        
Working knowledge of MS SharePoint, Visio and Access, Clarity, Microsoft Project.

Pricing:

Bill Rate   USD $46.64 Per  Hour
·         
Pay Rate (1099 or corp-to-corp)   USD $42.00 ($84,000 a year, requires business insurance)
·         
Pay Rate (W2 with no benefits (**))
USD $35.00 (Nebraska residents – approx $70,000 a year)
USD $20.00 W2 / $17.00 per diem (Non-Nebraska residents – approx $40,000 a year salary and $35,000 a year tax free expense money) 

(**) W2 Employees - No Benefits
CSE provides all benefits required by law.   Matching payroll taxes, state and federal employer taxes, workers comp, other mandated programs, long term disability, 3% matching 401k plan.

“NO BENEFITS” describes discretionary benefits, time off and health/dental insurance.  CSE can add discretionary benefits, but they have to come out of the Pay Rate above
